Melvin and Mell Dees were the first set of twins born to John and Allily Dees, on the farm at North Gila Valley in Yuma, Arizona November 22, 1943.
After graduating from high school Melvin moved to Phoenix, where he worked for International Harvest, and Anderson/Clayton Cotton Seed Company.
He has one child Melvin Jr.
